MCA Denver has six artists’ shows all opening on the same night, an occurrence that hasn't been seen since the museum's inaugural opening in October of 2007. This celebratory event is set to take place on January 29th, 2009, with a private members reception occurring from 6pm until 8pm and a public opening from 8pm until 10pm. Admission is only 10 cents for the public and 5 cents for students, artists, physicians and metaphysicians.

The work of Samuel Beckett, Michael Borremans, Eric and Heather ChanSchatz, Lorraine O'Grady, A. G. Rizzoli, and William Stockman are all encompassed into one museum-wide exhibition titled, 'Looking for the Face I Had Before the World Was Made,' a line taken from a poem by William Butler Yeats. Each artist’s work encompasses the idea of the human figure presented in a way outside of normal physicality.

MCA Denver is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10am until 6pm. On Fridays, the museum is open until 10pm. General admission costs $10, students and seniors pay only $5; membership to the museum is $45. The museum is located at the intersection of 15th and Delgany streets, just two blocks from Union Station. Docent tours are given daily at 11:30am and 3pm.
